Description

  • Anchee AC718 Ultra High Performance Tyre
  • The Anchee AC718 is an ultra high performance (UHP) tyre for drivers who actually use the performance in their car. It is built for sport sedans, hot hatches and quick coupes such as the VW Golf GTI, Subaru WRX, BMW 3 Series and Ford Focus ST, and is sold in New Zealand exclusively through Tyre Dispatch. Its asymmetric tread pays off where it counts: sharp grip and steering response on dry roads, without the heavy fuel penalty grippy rubber usually brings.
  • Z-speed rated to W and Y, with XL load reinforcement on almost every size, the AC718 is comfortable at sustained open-road speeds and under the weight of heavier performance cars. Its wide grooves move water out from under the tyre to keep it planted in the wet, and a UTQG 480 A A compound backs the grip with sensible tread life rather than wearing out in a season. Popular fitments include 225/45ZR17, 235/45ZR18 and 245/40ZR18.
  • Key Features
  • Sharp dry grip. An optimised high-traction compound delivers the bite and steering precision a performance car expects on dry seal.
  • Low rolling resistance. The same compound keeps rolling resistance down, so the grip doesn't cost you at the pump.
  • Asymmetric tread design. The outer shoulder adds cornering grip and steering response, while the inner grooves clear water to hold the road and lower the risk of aquaplaning in the wet.
  • Z-rated and load-reinforced. W and Y speed ratings with XL construction suit high-speed driving and heavier performance vehicles.
  • Long-wearing compound. A UTQG 480 rating with A grades for traction and temperature keeps performance consistent through the tyre's life.
