EV suitability
Electric Vehicle Tyre Suitability
+About Electric Vehicle Tyres
About EV Tyres
Electric vehicles often require tyres that can handle greater weight due to their heavy battery packs. They also benefit from tyres designed to withstand the increased torque and unique performance demands of EVs.
We stock both dedicated EV tyres and higher load-rated tyres that can be suitable for electric vehicles.
Important Information
Always check your vehicle's required load index before purchasing. Higher load-rated tyres (XL) offer enhanced weight capacity and durability suitable for many EVs.
If unsure about suitability for your specific EV, contact us and we'll help you find the right tyre.
Available Options (Sorted by Size Match)
Electric Vehicle Tyres
Tyres specifically designed for electric vehicles with optimised rolling resistance and noise reduction.
Higher Load-Rated Options
Higher load index tyres suitable for heavier vehicles including many EVs.

How this tyre performs where you are, right now — scored against its own wet grip grade and tread depth, not a generic set.
This tyre carries no EU wet grip grade, so we will not put a score on it. The full driving safety report can still score your own vehicle and tread depth for your town.
