The Rugged Adventurer: All Terrain Built to Take Punishment
The Maxxis Razr AT811 33X12.5R20 119Q is an aggressive all terrain tyre for four wheel drives that go off road on purpose, built on Maxxis's Armour Ply casing with a 3-ply Debri-Shield sidewall, and given enough road manners to drive to the track in comfort.
Armour Ply and the 3-Ply Debri-Shield Sidewall
The dual-cord Armour Ply casing twists two reinforcing fibres into every cord, dramatically improving casing strength against rocks and stumps. The sidewall is three plies thick with wrap-over Debri-Shield tread blocks, so a rock meets tread rubber before it meets the flank, and a high-tensile nylon cap ply under the tread keeps the tyre stable at highway speed.
3D Sipes and Stepped Chamfers: Bite Off Road, Stability On It
3D and multi-angled sipes let the tread blocks work independently to mould over rough terrain for extra biting edges, then lock together under braking for stable stopping on the seal. Stepped chamfers on the block edges ease each block onto the road for smoother, quieter running than the tread suggests.
Dual-Part Shoulders and a Damage-Resistant Compound
Two-part shoulder blocks with an extra-deep clearance groove give multiple gripping edges on sidling tracks and clear mud and stones as you drive. The tread compound is blended with extra damage-resistant fillers to resist cutting, tearing and chunking off road. Symmetrical and non-directional, it rotates to any corner.
