What the Hilo Sport XV1 is built to do

For SUVs that spend their time on the road and need load capacity without an off-road tread.

The Sport XV1 keeps more rubber in contact with the road than an all-terrain or mud tyre. Four straight grooves handle the main water flow, while the smaller lateral cuts create extra edges and routes out of the footprint.

The tread is symmetric and non-directional, which makes rotation straightforward where wheel size and vehicle setup allow. Its 520 A A UTQG grade combines the highest Hilo treadwear number in the current range with traction A and temperature A.

The range spans an everyday 235/60R17, a 235/45R19 XL and a heavier 265/50R20 111V XL. Always match the complete load and speed rating to the vehicle.

The sizes we list

The three listed sizes cover very different vehicles. Use the door placard and the tyre's full service description rather than choosing by rim diameter alone.

*The 265/50R20 listing value is shown for completeness, but its physical EU label is still on the stocktake list. The 235/60R17 title and 850 kg load identify it as 102H even though its current description row incorrectly says 84H.

Use the Sport XV1 for an SUV that stays mainly on sealed roads. The X-Terrain MT1 is the opposite end of the range for mud and rough ground. The Vantage XU1 is the low-profile performance choice for cars.
